Title: WPRR was Possible Pirate 1680 AM 2220 UTC 31 JAN 2024
Post by: ChrisSmolinski on February 01, 2024, 1405 UTC: I was first alerted to this possible pirate station via some posts on the Scan-DC mailing list. Several people in the DC Metro area have been hearing it. Checking my SDR recordings, it often appears around/after sunset when it overpowers WTTM from NJ.

The format is R&B / Soul / some modern Urban music. I've listened many times around the TOH and BOH and never heard any trace of an ID.

0102 - Signal fading in and out, many R&B tunes, have not heard ID.

Haven't heard any kind of ID either. Maybe this is an "overly enthusiastic" part 15 station?

This station has a history of problems and the failure to ID doesn't surprise me at all.
