- it was with them that I encountered the phenomenon of propagation, probably 40 years ago.
While I was "a guest" in Warsaw, I heard Radio New Zealand's broadcasts clearly on my home radio with a random wire attached to the metal curtain rod above the window.
It was early afternoon on 41mb, and I couldn't believe that this was really happening and I looked around to see if there was any amateur radio operator operating nearby, causing such hardware interference.
