Title: UNID 87.7 FM 24 HR Pirate Tewksbury-Lowell-MA border area

Noted this signal several weeks ago when I got a new car radio that tunes down to 87.5. Music only, no voice. Seems a 24 HR operation. Plays alot of 1980's obscure punk rock, rock, reggae. Weekends also plays other stuff.  Best signal near Rte 38 Lowell-Tewksbury border. Signal disappears in 2 miles eat of west of that QTH.  Nice mod, clear audio. Not sure if stereo or not as new radio doesn't have a stereo indicator.

atrainradio for you .....here is a 15 minute air check I made on Sunday, June 2nd, 2024 around 11 am .  Brought my trusty Eton E1 up to Hannafords parking lot and recorded it.

This is very typical of what they play, rock bands from the late 70's-early 80's and reggae.

AFAIK I have never heard an FM pirate.
