Title: beacons tonight
Post by: chucks on July 21, 2009, 0130 UTC

evening all. this is what I'm hearing tonight amid all the static from the impending rain storms.

11002.53    rather strong tonight  no secret messages tonight
8003.50  good signal also
5157.60  blinky  excellent signal in here from Florida
8497.60  in and out of the noise and strong ale signals

still haven't heard the "F" beacon yet and the "sputnick" out of West Virginia.

Bill, what beacons did you take down a few weeks ago?
I didn't update my list.

one of these days I'll have to get organized but then it wouldn't be any fun......

What's your best time for northwestern catches in that band?

I may adjust "F"'s schedule to be more eastern friendly.

Peace!
