on 6955 NBFM
0952 very weak, music on side of AM mode, very noisy result

1609 almost working in true NBFM mode at moments, otherwise only on side of AM
>>> maybe the advantage on the TX side is the easy amplifying with a standard linear amplifier ?

2042 music, on side of AM (fails in true NBFM)
2044 in fact, succeeds in NBFM when I detune to the lower side (there's a UT on the upper side)
2048 LOST

Extremely difficult reception in SW England, despite quite a strong carrier (S7). Just hearing bass notes from music, very distorted, broken and noisy.
An AM signal at this strength would be received quite well. IMO, 48 metres and NBFM just doesn't work.
