Might this be a HARP transmission or similar??

This was then joined by a more narrow transmission in between the wider ones.
I've been watching this for about an hour now.
While this was going on I also observed this or a similar wide FM signal centered on
~10775 khz one single burst at 1:34 utc and
~6812 khz two burst about 1:37 utc

Probably going to need a bit more than that to go on ;)

At about the time you mention there was a wide OTHR hitting, about once a minute for 20 or 30 seconds.  A little later there was another radar, a Chinese OTHR, hitting the same frequency.

HAARP is still shut down by the way.  Although I understand a contract has been hammered out.

Was there audio associated with your radio wave jpgs as opposed to just the video? If so, the type of audio (music, tones, single tone, etc.) may clue us in as to who was broadcasting at that time on that frequency (may have been Firedrake, numbers station, 'siren', carrier minus audio, etc.).

I did not record the audio but remember it was rather simple compared to other
HF radar or sounding signals I have observed.
I also watched the audio on the "scope" and it did not indicate anything other than the frequency sweep.
With AM demodulation it was a simple "swish swish"
With SSB demodulation it was a simple "chirp chirp"

Probably any one of many OTHRs.  The US ROTHR would be a front runner in my mind, but that would be hard to prove.

Here is an example of a 100 kHz wide OTHR (sounders can sound exactly like this, but transmit less often).  Does this sound like what you heard?  I show it in USB, LSB, and AM in this video.

(edit) Rockpicker, I might add that screen shots and audio recordings are your friend.  From a screen shot I could probably tell you what you had, an audio recording would be even more conclusive.  Screen shots are quick and easy to grab, and can be done after the fact by just sliding up the DDC waterfall.
