Just happened to notice there is nothing on 5025khz @ 0015 today.
Has there been a schedule change? Maintenance?? Radio Habana is strong on 5040khz in English.

I noticed it was missing last night also. Tuned into 5025 to ID the Rebelde outlet on 1180 khz, which was coming in on top of KOFI (Kalispell, MT).
Radio Havana was on 5040 but on 5025 there was nothing but static. I noticed a couple weeks ago 5025 was empty also. Might be having problems with their transmitters?
Supposedly there is a new R. Progeso outlet on the 60 meter band, but I still have yet to hear it.

Radio Rebelde is still on 5025 but due to recent storm damage they can only put one station at a time on the air from the that site. They have decided to run 5040 RHC in spanish/english & then Rebelde comes on 5025 much later in the night. Radio Progreso is on 4765 daily with a good signal here in the midwest USA from 00:30 - 04:00z

I know this log is a few days old, but, for what it's worth….
5025 CUBA. R. Rebelde - Havana. A regular throughout the year, but notable this evening for it's exceptional strength and clarity with very little atmospheric noise. Noted at 0900 with ID, and a short news bulletin before getting into music and an interview with a local singer. Pleasant listening on Dec 12.

Thanks for the info, GlimmerTwin. Will have to listen for Progreso a bit earlier in the evening.

Rebelde missing again Monday evening and still off at 0300 UTC 24-Dec-13 re-check. I had a carrier earlier around 5024.9 kHz which is likely Radio Quillabamba. Might be possible at their 1000 UTC s/on if Rebelde stays off.

Referring to my earlier post, Radio Rebelde is still on but only after RHC goes off on 5040. I think Rebelde starts at 9:00z

Thanks for all the info...
R. Rebelde with a huge 20kHz signal this morning @ 1215z.

I'd been wondering where the heck Rebelde had gone! This explains it. Thanks folks!
Also, not sure it's worth much, but I've only been able to manage a carrier and the weakest of unintelligible audio when trying for Progreso, and I've tried quite a few times. No clue what's up there. It's a shame; I'd like to snag that one on SW once. My only proper Progreso catch remains an amazing one on 880kHz, *over and flattening* WCBS, during a wild night of many Latin American signals. :)
