Just noticed a carrier come up with some weak audio, music. S3-S4 over S3 noise floor.

Great signal here, peaking S8 with my ground mounted vertical and 3 dB preamplifier. (some static crashes)

Just heard an ID for Pirate Radio Boston at 0047. First pirate station with my Christmas gift, an NRD-515. So far not moving the S meter.

S8-S9, within the noise. Decent signal. Modulation at times good, then into the static. 1720 AM, 0125 UTC into a wire antenna and an IC-R75. Virginia Beach, Va.
