Title: HCJB Ecuador 6050 kHz 00:17 UTC 20 May 2025
Post by: Dr. Conspiracy on May 20, 2025, 1449 UTC
Picked up decent signal (SINPO 35343) vocal music and talk in unrecognized language right at local sundown here in Palmyra, Virginia. It matches EiBiSpace schedule for HCJB broadcasting in Cofán Language.

Grundig G4000A receiver outdoors with 20-ft wire diagonally up a tree.

I posted a video of it on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uMETzYxkv4o (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uMETzYxkv4o)

Heard again May 21, 00:00 - 00:35 UTC. Mix of pop orchestra, vocal jazz, and guitar. Then long talk followed by vocal group music singing to the tune of the Christian hymn, "Lord I Lift Your Name up High" (unrecognized language) accompanied by guitar. Then a repetitive whistling pattern at 00:30, then some indigenous chanting. Spanish at 00:33.
