Good morning.

18.48 : S 7 dB - S.I.N.P.O. 45444.
18.49 : S 2 dB - S.I.N.P.O. 25222 on 6319 KHz.

Note : For what reasons, Radio Europa uses two frequencies ?
Why the second transmitter is weaker than the first one ? Other site of transmission ? Other bearing ? Relay between the studio and the main transmitter ?
Here are some interesting questions.

Probably only one transmitter, producing the two frequencies. Some strange design, with a lack of filtering to remove the unwanted 'image' frequency. Maybe no filtering at all, just the antenna well tuned for 5940 and not so well tuned for 6320.

pasting here the VERY late reply from Benoit Leveque :

Good evening, dear Ray Lalleu.

Thank you very much for your reply and I apologize for my answer with delay. Maybe the operator didn't remark or notice that his transmitter is broadcasting on an other and second frequency and maybe he couldn't use any filter to stop it.

Good D.X.
