On what basis do you think it's R. Brasil Central? 4985 disappeared a while ago and at least one person thinks both frequencies are down for good: https://mt-shortwave.blogspot.com/2025/05/active-brazilian-list-on-shortwave.html.  But their FB page (unlike their web page) still lists both SW frequencies so it's certainly possible.

Pretty darn sure theyre off..... i havent heard them in months and months and months, and that was as of earlier this summer so i went looking for answers and published this story:

11815 was very regularly heard up here in Alaska

Vatican Radio is on 11815 16-17, and for those last 20 minutes its in ukrainian.. thats likely what you heard.

How do ya confuse ukrainian with portuguese?
