Good conditions allow me to enjoy this music. Signal was very weak at first but is now:
25343

Man speaking Asian language "Konichiwa". Makes me think Japanese, but searching this channel online yielded "China Radio International news South Pacific."

Playing a mix of oldies:
3 Different versions of Love Potion Number Nine
Beatles
Beach Boys
Now some jazz

I think you probably heard Radio Nikkei , not China Radio International.

   R.Nikkei 2  23:00 - 8:00   9760 khz  via Chiba Nagara, Japan   50 kilowatts    as per Aoki/SWSKEDS

Thanks. Its fun to hear an Asian show that is not Chinese. Kind of like finding something not made in China.
