S9ish signal heard via the Traverse City, Michigan, SDR with good audio amid lots of static crashes; considerable noise on the band tonight ...
0017 UTC: "All Tomorrow's Parties" by The Velvet Underground & Nico.
0022 UTC: The American-accented female host chatted between the songs into "Slither" by Velvet Revolver.
0024 UTC: The transmitter had a "hiccup" and then came back on with an ID and the rest of the song.
0029 UTC: The British-accented female host came back and joined by the American-accented host as they talked again about the raccoons and Juan Valdez.
0031 UTC: The hosts said they're diving into the mailbag and started reading comments, including that RFE programs are good "theater of the mind." They read a comment from Chris Smolinski, too.
0033 UTC: "Search and Destroy" by Iggy & The Stooges.
0035 UTC: The signal strength just seemed to take a leap upward. Now S9+ via the Michigan SDR.
0036 UTC: Beethoven sonata played on the electric guitar; Shazam's not giving me a proper title or artist for this.
0041 UTC: "Toccata & Fugue Metal Variation - Opus 1" by Sinfönicca.
0052 UTC: Instrumental music continues, but noise is overtaking the audio at times.

Thanks for the program tonight. I wish it weren't so noisy on the band!
