Unsurprisingly, it turns out this DJ once held the Guinness record for "fastest-talking human": https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Jack_Armstrong. It also turns out he was a DJ at KTNQ 1020 in Los Angeles just as I started listening to that and other AM radio stations around age 7 or 8.

Good signal here in Niagara Canada. WKBW 1520 Buffalo was the favourite of teens in the Niagara Frontier back when i was growing up in the 60's near Welland Ontario. The only DJ I remember was Dan Neavereth

Quite strong here on the SDR recording. As a former Buffalo area resident, I remember WKBW very well!
