Just signing on now with Soviet Anthem. About an S9 here, some fading.

I enjoy the Time Warp shows as well, thank you Comrade Dickweed!

Time Warp - 1944 - t shirt plug ... Bing Crosby tune 2142 ... love these time warp shows Dick Weed!
I thought Douglas Edwards was still alive but he died in 1990. On the other hand Richard C. Hottelet, born 1917, is still with us. The last survivor of the WW II reporters.
Shortwave news report at 2216... nice.  2253*

Punching in here with S9+ at tune-in 2214 UTC with World War 2 CBS newsreel. Nice AM audio!
2239 UTC Playing 40's tunes now. "Would You Like to Swing On A Star" at 2242. I remember watching Captain Kangaroo in 1960ish when they would play a version of this song! Shades of Mr. Greenjeans and Grandfather Clock...
2250 Dick Weed & Co with chat about the French and recap..."from 1944...all that's left is 1945 but you have to buy a t-shirt...until next time...off abrupt at  2253 UTC.

The station name is Radio Free Whatever - so RFW is the abbreviation.
