0039 S9+ Valley Girl Radio

S9ish signal with good audio heard via the SDR in Fair Hill, Maryland, with moderate background noise and some fading ...
0042 UTC: "Walk Like an Egyptian" by The Bangles.
0044 UTC: "Our House" by Madness (a truly underrated band that never broke big in the U.S.)
0047 UTC: Valley Girl host talking about the Madness song, then introducing the next song into "One Way or Another" by Blondie.
0051 UTC: "Cities (Live)" by Talking Heads.
0055 UTC: Host saying the last song was amazing, giving the email address, and saying it's time for "girl power mode."
0056 UTC: "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper.
0100 UTC: "I Wanna Be Sedated" by Ramones.
0103 UTC: Host back talking about The Ramones, giving ID, and introducing the next song, "Notorious" by Duran Duran.
0107 UTC: "Come Dancing" by The Kinks (a classic from back when I was very young).
0111 UTC: Host giving the email address ([email protected]) and then introducing the next song, "Rush" by Big Audio Dynamite II, a band I saw in concert back in about 1992.
0116 UTC: "Private Idaho" by The B-52's. Not sure what everyone else thinks, but today's playlist rocked, Valley Girl Radio!
0120 UTC: Host back on the mic talking about the previous song, then talking about dancing into the next song, "The Politics of Dancing (12" Mix)" by Re-Flex, a great one-hit wonder from 1983.
0127 UTC: "Mexican Radio" by Wall of Voodoo.
0131 UTC: Host saying this is the end of the show and inviting listeners to tune in next time, then "Valley Girl" by Frank Zappa to wrap it up.
0137 UTC: Off.
Thanks for all the marvelous music tonight, VGR!
