'NO DOUBT' !

I feel like we've been through about six months of winter already.

I have been working under the assumption that at some point we would break Winter's back.  This will not happen because Winter is apparently an invertebrate.

Making lemonade from lemons....

The resonant loop I use typically has a max Q of about 240 in the 43M funny band.  I have noted an enhanced Q (generally better than 300, once to around 330) on those mornings when the temp was down around -15F or lower.  Whether this was due to the resistance of the windings or the Q of the tuning diodes I cannot say; been too lazy to run the numbers.

Kind of suggests that the next generation of loop my be cooled by one of the old dorm refrigerators cluttering up my basement.
