Weak here, QRM from a UTE just below.
Moved to 6955 at 0233z, much better reception.
-
S4 carrier over S3 noise, can't get much audio yet
-
Same here. Weak to fair signal. Lots of noise.

Radio True North, 2-9-14, 0145-0508*, 6.940 & 6.955.5 AM, under the static here at 0145. on 6.955.5 AM at 0238 and copy is still pretty rough....can detect programming once in a while. Hearing music at 0239. Hearing female singer sing "I want....." at 0316 as signal is occasionally popping just above the static enough. Announcer at 0320 "....good evening to everybody....okay we've got..." Clear ID by male announcer at 0321 "Radio True North" and into music. Another clear ID at 0332. Announcer talking and says ".....at any rate...haven't played this song...and u never know....you, are listening to Radio True North" and into music from the movie, South Pacific, "I'm gonna wash that man right outta my hair." Hearing "Self Control" by Laura Brannigan at 0407. Hearing "Rumours" by the Timex Social Club (?) at 0413. Heard announcer just confirm the group at 0415. Thanks. Now hearing "99 Luft Balloons" by Nena at 0435. Hearing a raggae tune at 0508. ID & "thanks for listening today" and off at 0508. signal had just gotten a tad stronger at sign-off.

Getting him on 6935 AM since about 0215, moderate to heavy fades and lots o static. Just heard O'Lamour by Erasure (one of my all time faves!!) then ID Radio True North.
Wow, am I surprised just how much better the intelligibility is on the ancient Hammarlund boat anchor vs. the Icom R75....static overpowers it on the Icom.
Now Moody Blues, The Voice....(let me check to make sure my record collection hasn't been stolen) ;)
Quick ID and off @ 233.
Found him again on 6955 with Beatles "Come Together" @ 0238 (yeah, for sure I better check my albums now). Bit less static on this frequency.
0242 Magic Carpet Ride by Steppenwolf. Check.
Lovely show, thanks RTN.
0322 still hanging in there, barely, as the band descends into the quagmire.
0332 OK scratch that. Forgot these old boat anchors drift and need touching up every now and then. Still coming through about the same as before.
0334 Little chat, RTN ID and "Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair" + more South Pacific
0344 Boys of Summer
0349 Riders On the Storm
0356 SOS by The Police
0405 Self Control by Laura Branigan (another favorite)! Seems the overall signal getting weaker, though w/ fewer and less deep fades. Getting hard to make out announcer.

Conditions early on kept me from getting much from Radio True North on 6940 here in NH. The move to 6935 put him under a huge UTE.
0232z Moved to 6955.5 and sounds great now, S8 - Sunshine Reggae
0238z ID into Beatles - Come Together
0242z Steppenwolf - Magic Carpet Ride
-
Yes, 6955 is the best so far. S7 in high noise now
0240 "Come Together", "Magic Carpet Ride", "Cheap Sunglasses", "Who Can It Be Now" (at S9+5)
0255 IDs, T/C
"Last night I held Aladdin's Lamp..."
-
S9+ here @0251
Playing a ZZ Top tune
-
2-9-2014
6955.482 KHz, AM mode
0305z S8 Dance track with female vocals, OM over music said "We welcome your reports"
0308 S7 Thanks for the shout RTN!
0310 S8 "This is Radio True North" OM into Reggae/Dancehall track, sounds like the Police.
0415 S9 OM comments about live shows, email addy, HF Underground.com. Signal seems to be slowly improving.

03:13 Pretty much can hear a good carrier but not much in the way of audio - S4-5 signal
-
Got it here on 6955 at S6 to S8, but very noisy.
-
Getting a little music through the noise but tough copy here in AL
-
Just tuned in 0319, hearing some music but noise level here too high to get much out of it. :)
-
Nice clear ID @ 0320. S6 with light fading. Nice bass.
The highs aren't making it through as well as the bass, except on peaks, but is getting better.
"Everybody's Free" @ 0326z
Still S6 @ 0349 with "Riders on the Storm", highs coming thru a little better.
Up to S7 @ 0400 with "Rough Boys" by Pete Townshend
Faded back down to about S6 @ 0405z.
-
Very tough copy here. About S4.
