Copying it now, at 1800z, on 12890.00 kHz. Very weak, but audible, here in MD, although fading in and out.

Your number one !
Thanks for the initial report.
12 Mhz may be a challenge but now we seem to have beacons available on several key points in the spectrum.
It is temporary but may be on more this week!
cheers!

While fishing I took some breaks and from 2200-2300 Utc the 12890 dasher
was copied on my KA 1103 along with Echo...both Florida beacons making the trip
into sunny Colorado where the fly fishing was great today.
Also S, OR were good copy along with SD.
We need more beacons on the east coast...
Congrats...and thank you very much

After reading about the new dasher being on I tuned there and immediately found it, 2236 utc, and it continued to be heard until fading away about 0000 utc. Very weak with some fades to a little better level; nice solid dashes, heard on 12,890.00.

Hi. just sat down at the receiver a few minutes ago and started listening. It was on 12889.80 from yesterday.
I heard a whoop signal at 12889.950 audible about the noise tonight. It rides in and out of the noise right now, by the way the time is 0050z 09/29/09. The dash count is right so this must be the place.
