Title: Corporation for Public Broadcasting Votes to Dissolve? RW rip...
Post by: ThaDood on January 07, 2026, 1841 UTC
https://www.radioworld.com/news-and-business/headlines/corporation-for-public-broadcasting-votes-to-dissolve    Oh, cry me a river... Ya know, it might be an interesting to research as to what had gotten the ball rolling for congress, in 1967, feeling the need to bring CPB into being in the first place. This was during the LBJ Administration. Hmmmmmmmmmm??? One observation that I've made over the years, between PBS & NPR stations, and their commercial counterparts, is that employees of NPR & PBS seemed well paid, and always seemed to work on the latest & newest studio & broadcasting gear, while many commercial stations were barely hanging-on with ancient equipment and had lots of staff making only minimum-wage. Uh-huh...

CPB is voting to resolve?   Really?!   That's like voting to die while  on the way  to the guillotine.
