Title: 11m DX 1936 UTC 9 JAN 2026
Post by: RobRich on January 09, 2026, 1953 UTC

11m DX appears decent today. A quick skim:

27585 USB - Ongoing QSO on about weather. Think at least one op is European.
27665 USB - Sounds like Spanish or Portuguese. Mention of Brazil.
26735 AM - Ongoing QSO.
26785 AM - Another QSO about weather.
26585 AM - Spanish language traffic. Distortion, echo, music, etc.
26555 LSB - Spanish language QSO.
26375 AM - Spanish language traffic. Echo, beeps, etc.
25875 AM - Weak signals. Sounds like Spanish language.

Airspy HF+D and 30' inverted delta loop with preamp.

I usually check Channel 38 USB, then the next 2-3 channels lower -- both USB and LSB -- and sometimes there are surprises.

Then the Outband, mainly 27415 LSB, 27425 LSB, and 27455, 425, and 435 USB, where I've heard lots of Spanish language, and Brazilian Portuguese -- propagation permitting.
