Title: Captain Morgan 6950 AM 0256 UTC 3 MAY 2026
Post by: corq on May 03, 2026, 0306 UTC
Mods: this was a duel, unsure who I was actually hearing when starting the thread, plz correct if I mis-attributed <3

SIO 323 from Winter Park, FL

0255 UTC "You look like you love me"

0314 Hearing in better in AM now - John Mellancamp - Cherrybomb
0315 Bob Seger - Against the Wind
0320 Bob Seger - Main Street - (I grew up listening to this song in the neighborhood bar, where technically I wasn't allowed, but I was a pinball junkie, hehe) WHAT AN ABSOLUTE GUITAR HOOK, amirite?
0325 Brewer & Shipley - One Toke Over The Line
0328 Buffalo Spingfield - For What It's Worth

Getting muddy with local RFI - still great signal!

Thanks OP!

6950 is a mess here with 2 stations, one on AM, one on USB.  One of them is Captain Morgan Shortwave (not sure which).
0340 - USB station in the clear now with Rush tune, "Cinderella Man", S7

0333 Both stations are strong here. The USB station was playing Rush.
0335 Sounds like Captain Morgan was the AM station and just pulled the plug. The USB station is playing Rush "Closer to the Heart"
