A software engineer from Limerick in Ireland has built a fully functioning smartphone based on Raspberry Pi, with a total project cost of just $158 (£94).

It would be cool to know how to do this, but I would choose to stick with my $15 go phone which I'm sure would kick that raspberry pi in the nuts as far as being a usable phone.

Pretty cool and not super expensive.
