WTIC went off the air at 2300 utc right after time pip (morse code V for Victory). They should be broadcasting an Oriole-Red Sox game at the moment. Might make for interesting DXing with the Class A 50,000 watt flamethrower down. Radar indicates no thunderstorms in area when they went dark.
Local sunset is/was 2325 UTC. No explanation on their facebook page. (The Red Sox-Oriole game you can hear on 1090 AM is courtesy of WBAL)
2340 Faint talking then music, "Shadow" Nao Yoshioka & Bilal
(WUFO has an urban music format - 1,000 watt in Buffalo)
2350 WTIC returned to air with game
