OK, A long time listener and big time HFU WNY promoter here (13 years) but my log count does not reflect it. WNY folks signed up because I routinely promote HFU on the local repeaters. I am always working on projects away from the radio so I miss many stations excellent shows.
Is there a way that I can set up text notifications when a new thread is posted in NA pirate radio? As I only run superhet machines, SDR recordings are out of the question. Analog old fart here. RF only.
Most of the time I don't know the name of the songs but I do recognize them so I just log sig reports. For me, on HFU, I enjoy listening to the shows. Outside of heavy metal, I enjoy them all.
I would like to receive some kind of notification so that I can get to the radio when a new thread is posted.

Yes if you goto the base you wanna be notified of and click NOTIFY,you will get a notice when there is any activity on that base :)
So if you goto the MW Pirate radio section and click NOTIFY at the top,then you will be always kept alerted to anything new on that message base :)
Then go here and check the boxs so its enabled..

Thank you. I was looking for a text notification rather than an email. Is there an option that I am missing?

Hmm ya mean text on your display?
I doubt it as I think that would cost money for Chris...
