Title: UNLISTED BCAST 5880.0 KHZ 0000 UTC Arabic with heavy jamming
Post by: Dag on October 04, 2026, 0047 UTC

5880.0 kHz AM, strong signal in Florida.

There's no listing of any broadcast on this frequency in the databases I checked, so I am unsure of the source of the broadcast

Programming was Western-style professionally produced news and interviews, all in Arabic-sounding language, perhaps Farsi?   Occasionally American political audio clips of President Trump were present referencing the US-Islamic Republic conflict, as well as "Camp David", and "Israel".

Was this an American-based propaganda broadcast aimed at Iran to stoke a popular uprising against the IRGC?  Attempts to translate the audio with my cell phone were unsuccessful.

Listening to a KiwiSDR in Kuwait has this signal as full strength with no jamming heard, so I believe the target is Middle East

I have found some reference to a Radio Liberty broadcast from Kuwait in Turkmen on 5880 but not at the hour you posted.  It is in line with a professional Western production, strong on Kuwait sdr, and a Middle East/Central Asian language.  Maybe Radio Liberty is repeating the scheduled broadcast or, as you suggested, another broadcast in a different language aimed at igniting uprising.
