Does there seem to be more of what may be described as  military-type transmissions appearing lately around the usual pirate frequencies?
Aside from the MARS on 6912/6913, there appears to be an increasing number of utes and data packet broadcasts.
Tonight (Jun 28) on 6940 there were several packet transmissions heard throughout the late evening hours.
Just wondering if they are more frequent or more aware of their presence.

I've heard these types of transmissions before, they seem to come and go. Every so often, for example, LINK-11 will set up around 6945.  I've also heard ALE on 6925 USB, supposedly from Israel.

My guess is with the proliferation of SDRs, we're better able to spot these transmissions.
