Noting this tonight 16Feb15 at 2340 UTC at very weak level on 6815.1 kHz.
-
PPKD just peaking out of the noise floor ever now and then 0100 UTC 17 Feb 2014.
I wonder where this is located?
-
There hasn't been a PPKD logging in a while, so here's one...
First noted on the SDR recording at 0246 with an extremely weak signal. Better by 0330. Fairly strong all night. Starting to get weaker around 1100 but still a good signal until a sudden almost fade out at 1244. Still audible but super weak. Last heard around 1507 and then it was finally gone. Not sure if this helps locate it or not. Maybe with a few more reports from folks with SDRs of when they can first and last hear it, we could pin down an approximate location?

And it has faded back in, checking the SDR recording looks like starting at around 2030z.

Also here in Kentucky with what sounds like auroral flutter on the signal @ 2300. If coming over the north pole, then my bets are on Indonesia or Malaysia at this time of day. There is still a lot of daylight in that path though; basically, from the north pole to Kentucky is in daylight at this time.
