By WILLIAM YARDLEYSEPT. 12, 2014
Bob Crewe, who helped create a parade of indelible hits, most notably for Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, including “Sherry,” “Walk Like a Man,” “Rag Doll” and Mr. Valli’s soaring anthem of adoration “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,” died on Thursday in Scarborough, Me. He was 83.
His brother, Dan Crewe, confirmed his death. He said his brother had been in declining health after a fall several years ago while visiting him in Maine...

Wasn't he tried for crimes against humanity for collaborating with that pack of castrati?

I prefer to think that maybe their underwear was just a bit too tight.

Tight underwear doesn't cause caterwauling like that. Vise grips, maybe, tight underwear, no way.
I used to castrate cattle when I was younger. I wonder what method they used on Frankie and the lads? Must have been the traditional pull and cut. Opposable thumbs on the boys would rule out the more modern rubber band and wait to cut method.
I think I'll go look through my old knife drawer. Lots of heifers into herfers memories in there. Nothin' like a sharp hawksbill for doing the deed.

This might explain why the op on WBNY has such a high voice.
"Fries" were really popular on the California central coast when I lived there. Turkey and calf were the two most common types; the Gilroy Garlic Festival and F. McLintock's in Shell beach both had offerings. They were pretty good.
