Title: UNID 6920 AM 0004 UTC 15 Sep 2014
Post by: ChrisSmolinski on September 15, 2014, 0004 UTC
Just noticed someone here. OM talking, could be a recording of some hams talking?

Seems to be on 6919.7.

Email address at 0011z, but too distorted to make out.

Another ID and email address at 0024z, but again, too distorted to make out. Then off.

Also here at 0005 UTC on 6919.7 KHZ, best in USB because of the selective fading. Man chatting, but music now at 0008 UTC. A rather strange song! Nice audio though, with a solid S8 signal here into Western MA
0011 UTC Man with possible ID (will have to listen back later). Thought he was off, but came back up at 0012 UTC Seems to be 2 ops chatting about getting their signal out
0020 UTC That strange "goofy bouncy " tune again ;D
0024 UTC Definitely an email address, as I could make out the gmail.com part....hmmm

Chris, I was hearing this too but didn't have a good enough copy.  I agree, the e-mail ends with "gmail.com", and it sound like the word before gmail is radio.  And it seems there's an ID immediately after the e-mail address.  Its more intelligible and more like a normal voice when the pitch is lowered.  Those of you who had a good reception and recording, try lowering the pitch.

Listened back this morning to the recording and the song sounds like something Tom Lehrer would write....no ID on the tune though. I emailed the following addresses and they all bounced back:
kaairadio@gmail.com
khairadio@gmail.com
kahiradio@gmail.com
khaaradio@gmail.com
khiiradio@gmail.com
ahahradio@gmail.com
khhiradio@gmail.com
khhradio@gmail.com

( I can't listen to the ID anymore! It's beginning to sound like KingAHAnimal now....I give up >:( )

Thanks Chris S :) I do believe that is the best approximation of the email address I am hearing over and over again...and it didn't bounce! But then a couple of other combinations of letters didn't either ???
Oh well, I'm sure I've ended up in someone's spam box a few times ;D
