This might have been KCPR. I could hear it on the west coast also, about S3 or so. He mentioned to me in a private chat that he was trying out a homebrew 5 watt transmitter.

Weak signal here on the SDR recording, just traces of audio. Sign on may have been as early as 0203, tough to tell. Off just before 0232.
