That's some work you did Chris!  I have a "stat" co-worker who does all of the year-end statistics and it really takes him time to put it all together, so I personally know the work involved with the pie charts, etc.  Many, Many Thanks --- Steve

Very nice.

Next year, can you break out US & European pirates separately with respect to monthly, daily, time of day, and possibly band?

My NC-183D is happy to see that AM is on the rise, as it should be. Sure, more power, but sounds so much better. Especially in stereo.  ;D

I must also plead laziness in not logging as much as I should. For 2015, I'll try harder.

Hi Skeezix,

Right now, the loggings are just US (well, NAm, there's undoubtedly a few Canadians in there) pirates.

I could run an analysis on the loggings from the European thread, although I suspect we're just capturing a small sliver of what's actually being transmitted. It would at least show what's being heard over here, I guess.

Radio Dr Tim produces a weekly newsletter listing loggings in Europe, which I have been posted to the General forum for the last few weeks. I could see if the format is conducive to data analysis, it's probably as complete of a summary of European pirate activity as exists anywhere.

Thanks for doing these.
I'm pretty surprised to see the AM outpacing USB transmissions.

BTW, commenting doesn't seem to be working.  Keep getting error,
"cannot save".

Thanks for pointing that out, John, I think commenting is fixed now.

Yeah, interesting to see AM still holding on. I suspect the wide use of grenade type transmitters has much to do with that?
