03:47 Just hearing faint music - barely above the noise level here
04:18 hearing the music OK-----song ---Centerfold audio is a tough go
04:20 heard ID Radio Free ? into Patsy Cline song - After Midnight-----(much clearer after I tightened up the filters)
04:26 ID - live show?
Because I could not make out the exact ID- will go with what the others have deciphered. Radio True North it will be.
Thanks all to who have posted! OK Chris....ready to move to Skipmuck's thread.... ;D
Thanks for the Show RTN!

Weak here as well, AM signal.
ID @ 0349 - "Radio Free ???" (possibly Radio Free Mars). S4 Carrier.
Time check at 0355.
Clear "Radio Free Mars" ID @ 0408
I wish I had been recording. I guess this was Radio True North instead of Radio Free Mars.
-
0354- weak music here also
0404- can detect a carrier but that's about it ???
-
Signal very visible on the spectrum, but faint audio heard. I can tell something is there, but that's about all. Some music coming in right now. Thanks for the show.
-
Skipmuck, I'm not sure he said your name dude. You been drinking?
-
Hey DJ Dickweed....I thought I heard him say Skipmuck....chatting with RTN in the IRC and he said Hi...not sure to whom though. Gave up drinking 11 years ago. Probably hear better if I started again :-X
Nah...I'd never survive another encounter with Dr. Smirnoff 8)
Edit:Listening back on the recording Saturday morning and I don't hear what I thought I heard last night....
-
Thought this might have been Radio Free Mars but ID @ 0420 sounded like Radio True North.
Static or not, maybe time to recalibrate the ears.
-
Heard El Condor Passa at 04:25
Fair signal into NE Ohio. Audio a bit on the weak side, but signal hitting S5
Heard ID given, but too weak to be sure....
Positive ID heard at 04:44 given several times over and over.
connected via IP to remote receiver with better signal
-
0430- carrier on 6934.9 weak mx
-
Fair with pleasant modulation, ID block 0446, into more tunes S-6.
-
6935 khz USB 0520 UTC
Carrier heard tuning around frequency.
Some audio and voices but unstable and to weak to copy in Central Missouri
-
I'm hearing Radio True North in AM fairly well in Santa Barbara on 2 May 2015 at 0550 UTC. I believe I heard an e-mail adress of radiotruenorth@gmail.com.
-
Wow! That was quick; I just sent an e-QSL to radiotruenorth@gmail.com, and just got a reply at 0556 UTC "Hi! Thanks for the report. Nice to know you are hearing me..... Lighting up the left side!"
-
SDR Recording Catch
0341 to 0756 UTC - Nothing but an intermittent carrier on the waterfall during
this time span :(
Thanks Anyway, RTN!
We'll try for you again next time!
-
Generally a weak signal here on the SDR recording.
-
SDR Recording Catch
0349 - Only a faint carrier at the times noted by others.
No audio heard.
:(
-
I heard the ID at 0408 on the SDR recording, at about half past the minute. To me, it sounds like Radio True North.
-
This was definitely Radio True North 8)
Centerfold-J Geils and Walking After Midnight-Patsy Cline were played by Radio Free North at the times posted in these loggings. :)
-
I just remembered catching RTN last night, though didn't hang around due to way too much local QRM.
::) not to mention way too much tch. ::)
