Post by: atrainradio on May 21, 2015, 1422 UTC
There is a petition started by Media Matters for America to get rid of Rush from the airwaves.

Tearing down achievement doesn't elevate anyone seeking "fairness", an unattainable goal...
It throws everyone into the same ideological cesspool...

MM has been trying this for 20+ years... His syndication rate has risen, not receded...

Ever wonder why there's no opposing personality to counter Rush Limbaugh's success???

IMHO [having been around radio most of my life]: It can't attract listeners...
Air America's attempt at finding a market was the best funded & the biggest failure to draw any audience from the opposing philosophical sphere...

I have theories on why it fails but the MM petition is another joke...

Leave Rush alone. He needs that alimony and pill money.

MM- Michael Medved?
And yeah Rush needs his pills you know; keeps his blood pressure low.

MM=Media Matters

My dad always listened to Rush when I was a kid, and probably still does.  He can't be all bad, I did learn of the Pretenders from his bumper music, and I still like "My City Was Gone."

I'm hardly a Limbaugh lover but Media Matters is about the last place I'd look for unbiased reality.  Talk about "spreading lies and vitriol", MM has done that in spades...
