S3 with very weak music.
At 2333 a man with talk thought that I heard mentions of brother Mike?
2344 signal took a huge jump; Let's Spend the Night Together.
2351 "celebrating all who sacrificed this is WAZU"
-
I also have a carrier on 9275.3, about S6, with no discernible audio.
Edit: Weak music at 2334z. WAZUshortwave@gmail.com email at 2336. Also hearing bits of The Chambers Brothers - Time Has Come Today at 2338. Rolling Stones - Let's Spend the Night Together at 2345. Warren Zevon - Carmelita at 2355. Signal is up and down, S6 at peaks, but lots of fades into the noise. The Seeds - Pushin' Too Hard at 2359.
Pretty good for a QRP signal!
Thanks Fearless Fred!

I have a fair carrier here at 9275.3 AM at 2326 UTC, but only bits of threshold audio at 2329 and 2330 UTC. Not enough to make out but it is music
2333 UTC OM with announcement, then clear music! Signal jumped up! S5 now with a C&W tune man singer
2336 UTC OM talkover during end of song with commentary
2337 UTC OM with several clear ID's and email address :), then YL followed by "Time Has Come Today"-Chambers Bros
(2339 Signal dropped out to just above threshold during song)
2342 UTC OM talking but signal is still threshold
2346 UTC Signal back up to S3 now with "Let's Spend the Night Together"-Rolling Stones
-----------------------------
Late posting due to AOL crash around 0001 UTC or so just after the end of the Seeds-"Pushing Too Hard"...the dialup lines went out just as I was posting at this time! Good thing I didn't have one of those fancy SDR thingies 8)

Checked out HFU logs, tuned in, & am hearing Stones "Let's Spend the Night Together" at 2345, with a fair signal. Haven't heard WAZU ID yet, but I'm assuming it is. If so, it's my 1st time hearing the station outside of 43m & my 1st time hearing a North American pirate on 31m in a long time.
Thanks for the show!
Andrew

23:52 Heard YL give an ID with "memorial" in the name
now playing C&W music
Weak signal just above noise level, and fair audio recovery
Last heard with song 'pushing too hard' and then lost at 01:05
Back on a few minutes later with more music

Not a Bad Signal for 10 Watts.S4 with some Fades.
0014 UTC, Steve Earle - Nowhere Road
0023 UTC, " Please come back" song refrain
Thanks for the show WAZU.
-
00:16 "Baby Please Don't Go" by Them S5-7 signal with good audio but fair amount of fade per conditions. Impressive if this a 10W PEP XMTR!

I have a carrier on 9275.3 kHz (+- 100 Hz) here in Ukraine!
The carrier still was here at 0205 UTC, so no idea if it really belonged to WAZU. Unfortunately too weak to copy any details.

Just a carrier here.

0059 - Carrier here only - S5
-
Nice S5 sig here (on the Wellbrook) at 0101 with "Pushing Too Hard"
0108 ID, "Hurdy Gurdy Man"
Thanks FF!

Thanks to all of youse for tuning in to the "Michael Robert Memorial Show". Mike was my brother, and a disabled Vietnam vet who left us last August at the age of 65. I thought this to be the proper weekend to honor him and the rest of our vets who have served. Yes, I am only running three watts - with about 90% modulation - about 10 watts PEP, from upstate NY. Any who would fancy a special edition QSL please write in to wazushortwave@gmail.com and we'll fix you up... 73!

Heard here at 9.275.22 AM last night from 2357-0051. Great eclectic musical selections including Pushing Too Hard, Hurdy Gurdy Man, Good Friends, Nowhere Road, Gone Back to Whorin, etc.
Signal started off barely audible here, crushed under the noise, but ultimately was audible and relatively quiet, and headphones eventually weren't necessary. It looks like the Pre-Post sunset conditions made a big difference.
