Mostly poor copy here, but very clear email given at 0034 with "Ghostriders in the Sky" theme in the background and off.
Plenty of lightning in the area this evening.

That's what that was! Due to storms, I didn't use an outdoor antenna just a makeshift indoor dipole into an old Sangean portable.
Signal was decent on peaks, but the noise was nasty. I thought I heard "Jesus Built My Hotrod" popping through the static mid-show.
