Catching RTN here also with a S7 using narrow mode playing what I believe was Kabul Dreams at 0407 and thought hearing ID at 0410. That UTE station is a bad boy this evening pushing a S15 here. Thanks RTN and have a great 4th! Moved to 6955 at 0422 and sounding alot better. ;D

0519- detecting a carrier here but cant hear audio
-
I can hear it here in central PA but it's down in the noise. @ 0524z.

I have a clear copy of tunes...trying to identify. Maybe david bowie? Sounded like live recording of a concert. Op just came on and said freq...but didn't get the ID. Sstv now...ok synth voice just gave email twice but again i couldnt make it out. Too many static crashes. Sounds like 80s rock now. "These boots" coming through clear now. Did I just hear a "COOL AM" ID?
-
Sounds like it might be.
-
Its me guys on the left side. Hard for me to get on the right side. Will be signing off soon. Thanks.

Sorry to say, I could not glean any audio out of tonight's broadcast.
Carrier was there all night, albeit faintly, but no modulation.
Noted when COTB went QRT. Moved to 6955 at 0421.
yes, the slide/move is very evident on the SDR Recording.
Noted S/Off - QRT on 6955 kHz at 0619

(again no internet @ home): 04 July, 0236gmt., 6.950 am, "Japanese song"...now announcer with distinctive Asian accent talking abut N. Korean military @ 0242, marching song & playing now (stirring stuff!); (Note that this station had been on for a while, continued for a bit but "Propagation" conditions rendered signal unusable. Also xmit. definitely am mode).
??? Anybody know what this was ???

My guess is RTN? http://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,22397.0.html
I had a carrier here at that time, presumed to be RTN.

Makes sense, Radio True North is one of the very few stations making it to this area. Especially that strong a signal.
Thanks.
