Thanks for the reminder. I wanted to catch it, but forgot.

The correct time (from his website (http://artbell.com)) is M-F 9p-12am PT (Tues-Sat 12am-3am EDT; 0400-0700 UTC)

Shortwave stations carrying it:
http://artbell.com/radio-stations/

Tennessee - WTWW - 5,085 kHz
Maine - WBCQ - 7,490 & 9,330 kHz
Toronto - CFRX - 6,070 kHz

And good thing its on SW, as no local stations here nor any MW DX stations within range.

For your listening pleasure: The first episode of Art Bell’s Midnight in the Desert.
This recording was made on 5,085 kHz (WTWW), beginning at 04:00 UTC on July 21, 2015.

You can download the recording at:
https://archive.org/download/ArtBell201507210143271034415085000/Art-Bell-2015-07-21_01%2743%2727_10%2734%2741_5085000.mp3

The receiver used was the TitanSDR Pro, coupled to a large outdoor wire sky loop antenna. The signal from WTWW (Tennessee) was very strong here in North Carolina and could have easily been received on even the most basic portable radio. I used the TitanSDR for the recording since it allowed me to record all three relays via WTWW (5,085 kHz) and WBCQ (7,490 and 9,330 kHz) simultaneously.

Art was talking with Graham Hancock when I tuned in. Art got that fraud, Hancock, to admit that he got the ideas for, and wrote the majority of his claptrap, under the influence of hallucinogens and hash. That alone made my night.

Sounds like I missed the best part of the show.  I tuned around to the various stations just for air checks, but stopped listening after the first caller.  Thanks for the recording, I'll give it a listen.

Never heard of Hancock before, but he sounds like a younger Castaneda who conflated a valuable personal experience and good fiction story into pseudo-anthropology and yet another spacey cult.

Protip: The mind altering substances are only advising you how to live your own life in harmony with your personal demons, not how to start cults and dictate how others folks should live their lives.  And don't inhale too deeply around the burning bush.
