Aug. 16 2015, Zanzibar bc 11735 khz back with english news at 1800-1810. Last time was on aug, 4 2015. English news seem to be irregular. Excellent reception here in sardinia with icf-sw7600g and whip antenna.

The last couple of years we have had booming signals from RTZ in our afternoons, but reception this year has been very disappointing to say the least, at least when I've checked.
Hearing RTZ today around 1930z with a weak sig, and mx. It sounds like a program of Taraab.
2000 5+1 pips and into OM talk -- building now to S7
2050 off

Your post prompted me to check 11735. S8 to S9 at 2014z, very good copy overall with just a bit of flutter from fading, although sync AM mode helps a lot with that.

A good signal again today at 1930z with a program of energetic soukous until 2000z, Taraab afterwards. The OM DJ, I've noted in the last two receptions, has the tendency to break into spontaneous laughter from time to time. Off at 2046 today.
