0247z: Play Free Bird dude... oh, wait, they are. Sounds like live or alternate cut, not the usual single.
0250z: "BID Radio. Burn It Down"
0250z: Foreigner "Head Games"
0255z: Don Henley "Dirty Laundry"
0300z: Def Leppard "Rock of Ages". Günter Grass Gets Grumpy Goobers.
0304z: Dead Kennedys version of "I Fought the Law"
0306z: BID Radio ID with Linkin Park "Burn it Down" background music

0311z: Buttnekkid Wimmins "One Week"
0314z: Green Day "Good Riddance - Another Fork Stuck in Your Eye"
0317z: Sudden steeeeep faaaade out... sounds like Johnny Cash version of "Ghost Riders"
0321z: Johnny Cash "Boy Named Sue" - signal still pretty weak but easy to ID this tune.
0324z: When I was a young boy I threw away those John Cougar Meloncramp songs. Except for "Check it Out", which is still a great song.
0328z: Journey "Wheel in the Sky"
0333z: No Doubt "Don't Speak". That's right, Gwen, just git in the kitchen and make me a sammich.
0336z: Possible ID or announcer chatter, but signal faded to barely audible again. Darned poopagation. Gimme sunspots.
0338z: Poison - Ain't nuthin but a good time. Jussst barely audible every minute or so.
0343z: Queen. Scaramouche. Very frightening.
0346z: BID Radio ID, announcer comments but dang signal faded too much to copy.
This all sounds like my first ex-wife's 8-track playlist.
Thanky kindly, BID, my first catch. Signal started out great for first half hour, then the magical sky hamsters quit working.
Pretty strong signal here, SINPO=34433, which seemed stronger because noise was low. Until 0317z, when signal suddenly nosedived to 24422. Picked up again a bit around 0324z, 23432, although local RFI heavier now too.
-
A few S's above the noise. Enjoying Free Bird.

.......

Generally a very good signal here, SIO 444, on the SDR recording. The last song and SSTV transmission were weaker than everything else, so I am not sure they were transmitted by BID radio.
