Instead of falling to the dozer blade, the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program has new life.
In mid-August, U.S. Air Force General Tom Masiello shook hands with UAF's Brian Rogers and Bob McCoy, transferring the powerful upper-atmosphere research facility from the military to the university.

Life never ceases to amaze. The same University types that have decided to sacrifice most forms of wealth creation in order to "save" the planet from carbon now want to start up an ionosphere-scorching program just to see what happens. And I see from the article that it is completely funded with debt and high hopes... typical. I'm sure the taxpayers will eventually be tapped to save them from going broke...

Ah, the University of Al Fansome. Trump's uni went into bankruptcy, Al's thrives.

Fansome has whupped 'em again.

I haven't been hearing Brother Stair lately, for some reason. When I used to tune 31 and 25 meters, he was always on in the late afternoon / early evening. The last few times I've tuned those bands it's just dead, with maybe Cuba.
Maybe Brother Stair could use HAARP after all. Create his own propagation. ;D
