Stay calm SWL listeners. The propagation gods will be on our sides one of these days but for now, enjoy the light show!

One can always try to DX the AM band under Auroral conditions, I suppose.

Heard a couple uncommon (for me) Mexican stations last night on the Superadio II, XEROK 800 and XECL 990.
