Title: Bhutan Broadcasting Service - 6035 kHz - 17 Oct 2015 - 2345 UTC
Post by: ulx2 on October 17, 2015, 2352 UTC
Bhutan Broadcasting Service is on 6035 kHz at the moment with American and European pop music non-stop (in parallel with their web-stream). The signal is rather good and steady in Kiev. SINPO = 44444.

Question -- why is this not listed at this time?  I see nothing
for Bhutan on the main schedule pages.

Thanks

Hello.

It's interesting question. I guess, that was some unscheduled test or simply somebody has forgotten to switch SW transmitter off. Anyway, the mentioned PX format matches their program schedule, posted on official BBS web-site. By the way, starting from 0000 UTC, usual BBS program (including traditional music and monks' chants) has started after pop music concert on 6035 kHz. However, no any signal on 6035 kHz right now. I will post audio recording of the broadcast on my website later.
