Was news channel-serving last night & an item stated that around 700,000 flying permits to be issued in the coming year (FAA maybe?). Thus: The "lower 48" is roughly 3, 119, 885 square miles, divide by 700,000=
a drone for every 4.45 square miles. Isn't math neat? 8)

Shotguns are neater. My Winchester "Long Tom" has forty-two inch barrel and fires a magnum load. I've knocked geese into the stratosphere with that thing. Drones don't stand a chance.
Fansome and his brothers fell victim to "Tom" outside of Roswell, New Mexico in 1947. The bunch of heathens buzzed my pasture in their flying car trying to snag a steer. Those boys have been a plague on the planet ever since. If knew they were going to be this annoying, I'd have gave them the damned steer.
BTW, Al bears a a striking resemblance to Fred MacMurray. If you go to Winterfest, say "hello" to the old feller.
-
Looking forward to your next? appearance on Coast to Coast. Let me know when.
-
Nonsense! I only appear on "Info Wars". No media zombies like Noory for me!
BTW, Bell say's George is a hybrid. It revolves around the methane generated by George's lactose intolerance. I can't quite follow his logic, but Art's like that. Crystal skulls, he's crystal clear. Methane, he's foggy. Go figure.
-
Well If You can't follow his logic who the hell can?
( that's a rhetorical ?)

SunSun please go away we need the rain!

OK You know what? I've tolerated a whole lot here but reminiscing about old black & white tv shows is where I draw the line. Umkay? Oo Oo (remember "Car 54 Where Are You") maybe I should pose this as a separate posting but who is your favorite South Park character? If ya can't guess mine you just ain't paying attention.

I like Kenny.... but then who doesn't...
Old TV shows... the Twilight Zone of course....
Or Thriller... or... get ready... My Mother the CAR!!!! yea....
OK... I go back into my cave now...
Do you remember the Flintstones' Winston cigarette commercials???

TV show? I'm talking movies. "Flubber" was how the alien technology captured from the Fansome boys in '47 was introduced to the public as a possibility. Fred was as close as Hollywood could come to a Fansome like visitor in human form.
There is a connection to "My Three Sons". Fred represents the middle aged Fansome, an aerospace engineer. Ernie represents the young Fansome form, an uber geek. Finally you have the aged Fansome form, Uncle Charlie, a reptilian with a Moe Howard haircut. Again, the government was getting the public ready for full disclosure.
Our Al is is fast approaching the toadlike Uncle Charlie stage.
"My Mother The Car". The multi-talented Jerry Van Dyke cast in a stinker. The guy could never get good lead role. BTW, didn't Shirley Booth do the voice of the car?
Any other questions, Ed... whoa, Nellie, nah, I mean Nella. Any other questions, Nella?

You little b*stards! Get off of my lawn!!!
-
Helloooo Wilberrrr!
-
Movies?! Sorry. My bad.
-
To be fair, Walt did show "Flubber" and "Son of Flubber" on his old Sunday night TV show at least once a year.
"The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes" was also about the Fansome boys. CalTech was called "Medfield College" in the film. Al's brother, Wyndeaux Fansome, was played by Kurt Russell. Al played a pesky kid sent to spy on the Kurt and the boys by the evil Dean, Joe Flynn.
You'll see Al riding around on a K-Mart Special stingray bike in the background with a cardboard periscope in the basket.

Question:
Why is it that only drones have and use drones?
We may never know....

Question:
Why is it that only drones have and use drones?
We may never know....
That's what you may think, but this could be your lucky morning.
My dear friend, Augustus "Gussie" Fink-Nottle, noted newt fancier and all around good guy, would be glad to put you up for membership in the Drones Club. There is a slight catch, you would have to move to London.
A few questions, one; How is your roll tossing arm? The ability to bean waiters with dinner rolls accurately and at long distance is vital to being a member of Drones. Two; What is your experience at snatching a policeman's helmet? You'll be asked to demonstrate while standing on the steps of the club, waiting for one to stroll by while the other members watch from inside. Three; How is your speed and stamina? You'll have to outrun said policeman around the block, into the Drones, helmet in hand, and policeman gassed by your fleetness of foot.
If you pass these tests the membership will vote on you. Mind how you act around Pongo Twistleton, he can be quite moody. His weakness for chorus girls and parlor maids always leads to dead ends when his Uncle Fred disapproves.
One last question, how are you fixed financially? Drone's is for young men of a certain social and financial status to have a place to blow off steam until they're ready to marry the bride of their family's choosing. Don't worry, she'll be a suitable young lady of an ancient and aristocratic linage who's family may be in spot of trouble, ie; they need the money and a heir.
You may be thinking "What's in it for me?" Why, at a minimum a knighthood and an estate! Look how well it worked out for Flip Mountbatten after he married Liz Windsor.
Have your man contact Gussie's man. Just mention my name, Pigmeat, Earl of Emsworth.
Good luck.

love it..... <heh>
<Modify follows>
What does one 'get' if said Officers head is still firmly seated in the helmet?
-
A night in what they spell "gaol" and an appearance before a judge. Use an alias.
However, if you manage to drag said policeman around the block, get the helmet, and not get pinched, your membership is assured. Easy as the proverbial pie.
If you don't have a valet, I'll let you borrow Fansome. The man's brain literally throbs with ideas due to his intake of fish. At times I think he's part penguin.

All I can say is, when I finally came out of the coma and started reading this board again, all I could think was "Thank God that the FRN is still here!"
-
Coma? I found you passed out in the cellar hugging a wheel of brie mumbling "Belinda...Belinda..." surrounded by empty bottles of wine. It was quite the display.
Did you mend all my socks that developed holes while you were taking the cure for your problems? I'm much too lenient with you at times.
