Post by: JohnS on November 29, 2015, 0049 UTC
Hearing German on 6944v LSB @ 0035 NOV 29 with huge splattering signal.
Audio was somewhat muffled and could not get a clean catch of frequency.
Assuming male anncr was German but signal s/off @ 0038.

JohnS,
Do you have a recording of the presumed German you could up load?
I am curious...

Sorry, Oliver, I do not have a recording.
I'm not set up to do audio recordings at this time.
The strength of the signal did catch me by surprise.
BTW, can you suggest what software may be suitable for use with a Drake R8B and a Windows 7 laptop?

Chris,
thanks for the audio file you uploaded.

Unfortunally is only a spanish OM with "Hola Hola que tal" and once metros audio" shout outs to hear.

No German ... what a pity!

Sorry to hear it wasn't German.  The signal splattered across such a large bandwidth I could never be sure of what I was hearing.

ka1iic, thanks for reminding me of the Audacity software.
I'll get it downloaded and re-learn how to use it.
