Title: Radio Ronin Shortwave 6955 AM *0035 UTC 7Dec15
Post by: jFarley on December 06, 2015, 0037 UTC
0035 just signing on with IS from a SWBC stn, but I can't remember which
0038 blues - 10YA thanks for the id guys!
0043 OM ment a buch of dates, and a poss ID?  Audio was somewhat distorted and hard to follow, then the signal plunged to the floor
0046 the carrier is no longer visible here

Very weak with choppy fading

I listened to the audio recording several times and there definitely was an ID, "This is Radio <2 syllables?> Shortwave" ??
The initial IS is not from a SWBC; it's Ronin's "Shogun" mx
This is Radio Ronin I think

Thanks for the relay!

S5 here at 0036 UTC tune in with an IS I've never heard before, into a Blues Rock tune at 0038 UTC..."I Woke Up This Morning" lyrics
0043 UTC Gone? Or faded into the noise?
0054 UTC Back up again rising in and out of the noise with music
0100 UTC Signal picked up a bit with another blues rock tune
0104 UTC Back into the noise :(
Alvin Lee was a highly underrated guitarist in my less than humble opinion 8)
0112 UTC Signal rose up out of the noise with "Baby Let Me Rock & Roll You" followed by "One of These Days" off of A Space In Time :)
0119 UTC Signal up again for part of "I'm Going Home"....a bit of "Blue Suede Shoes" in that one, so Live version

Great guitar blues at 0040Z.  Really jammin'!
DJ sounds like Wolverine Radio DJ at 0044Z.  Others on this list are saying it's Radio Ronin.  OK.
S7 here in Georgia.
Gone at 0125Z.
Thanks for the show!!

Mostly S6 and pretty good modulation.
Sounded like Radio Ronin's IS to me.

Songs including "I woke up this morning" and "Choo Choo Mama" by Ten Years After, "The Bluest Blues" by Alvin Lee
Getting lots of deep fades since 0100.
0118 - "I'm Going Home" by Ten Years After
Great to hear you again - Thanks for the show!
