Started out on 6950 for about 30 seconds, then switched suddenly to 6900.
"Tidings of Comfort and Joy".
Then male announcer, british accent. S5 to S9, but difficult to understand the announcer. Static crashes from thunder storms down south aren't helping.
Rapidly and humorously talking about a wide variety of subjects from war on drugs, vacation.
2359 - 'I'm not insane, everyone else is'...
2312 - possibly an ID, but too many static crashes and fades here.
2318 - maybe "Have Yourself a Groovy Little Solstice"
2319 - maybe "I Believe" by Joe satriani
2323 - moved back to 6950 khz, playing "Ieva's Polka"
2327 - Hendrix playing Little "Drummer Boy/Silent Night/Auld Lang Syne"
2335 - "In My Ways" by Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush
2346 - mostly into the noise here now, hearing a bit of "O Holy Night" on Organ
2348 - "We Wished You A Merry Christmas" by The Jethros, then into Hendrix' "Manic Depression"
2355 - "Merry Christmas" by Wesley Willis
2358 - finally got a clear ID, WBOG
0010 - poor to fair copy, S5 to S8, with interesting Christmas songs, most of which I can't ID...
0012 - "Redneck Christmas" by Ray Stevens. Up to S9 now.
0017 - "The Twelve Days of Christmas" by Bob and Doug McKenzie
0028 - S8 with "Ho, Ho Ho, Who'd Be A Turkey for Christmas"

Tuned in here at 2302 UTC and I'm hearing music on 6900.4 kHZ AM. Signal is fading in and out of the noise with some pescadore QRM
2304 UTC OM, but I can't quite make out what he's saying. Thought I heard him say "You're listening to ?", but the noise and the peskie is making things difficult, despite his long chat....
2308 UTC Switched to USB to KO the peskie and killed the high end and it's a little bit clearer now...OM mentioning a PO Box and some other numbers?
2310 UTC A Caribbeanesque tune with a Kokomo type Beach Boys flavor to it ...fading in and out of the noise
2312 UTC Different song...sounds like children singing
2313 UTC Hmmm...can't ID any of these tunes...
2315 UTC A surf rock instrumental version of "Sleigh Bells"
2316 UTC OM ..."forever and a day" is all I could make out...
2320 UTC Signal came up nicely during an UNID rock song OM singer and some good guitar riffing
2323 UTC Signal was hitting S6 peaks then seemingly off abruptly at 2324 UTC
-
S8 at noise floor
2304 music then OMs talking. ...one ounce weighs...neutron star
2308 LSB interference, noise getting the best of signal.
-
I think this is the one that was on 6950 and is back on it again with music. Pretty good signal. Thanks for the Christmas music.
Silent Night playing now
-
Tuned in at 2345utc, poor/weak, barely hear male talking below low noise level, R8 & dipole.
-
S5 at 2350z with Manic Depression by Jimi Hendrix followed by ID. WBOG?
-
0012z "Having a Redneck Christmas"
0014z ID "WBOG"
s7-8

0003 on 6950AM playing some old-time music, S-3 to S-5.
0007 children singing "I'm no kin to the monkey"
0010-Signal jumped up for a big "W-B-O-G" ID, and Santa saying 'Merry Christmas!'
Into song "Merry Christmas is my favorite time of year"
0012- 'Redneck Christmas'
0015- Bob & Doug McKenzie/Great White North with '12 days of Christmas- and a beer' (20 minutes later the FM rock station was playing the same thing, LOL) Signal peaking S-7 for this.
0020- Jingle Bells as an old jazz performance
0023 Andrews Sisters, some Xmas song (as announced by DJ afterwards)
0026 Another very clear WBOG ID, and into more Xmas music.
During pauses, I seemed to detect audio from another very weak station underneath, but no real interference from them.
As heard from a remote location, over my DX-394 using a short center-loaded 1/4 wave vertical antenna.
Noise was at S-0 ;D
