Radio Symban was founded in April 1997 by Angelo Matsoukas, a person with a wealth of knowledge in radio both in Greece and in Australia since the 1970s. The vision of Angelo Matsoukas and his colleagues was to create a radio station with a 24 hour Greek radio programme which would respect the political and religious convictions of all listeners, a value which has been respected by all and which makes up the philosophy of the station until today.
