Our guest on Amateur Radio Roundtable this week is Allan Weiner, famous radio pirate. He tells all about putting on his radio off shore New York, he will talk about the raids from the FCC and FBI and his arrest, his collection of military surplus equipment, and about his legitimate licensed shortwave radio station WBCQ. Did you see the MGM movie "Blown Away?" They used his pirate radio ship in the movie and blew it up.
This show airs Tuesday night at 8:00 PMCT (0200 UTC Wed). Watch the webcast on W5KUB.COM. The show is also simulcast every Tuesday night on shortwave radio station WBCQ on 5110 kHz.
