Not sure if this is a new one for me, or the return of an older beacon. Dashes just under one second long, about every three seconds.

It sounds like the one I have been hearing...perhaps one of the hikers...

It did some more measurements, and the period was almost exactly 3.0 seconds, the on time was around 0.65 seconds. It has since faded out at 1350z. I seem to have a narrow window in the morning when I can hear the 8 MHz beacons.

Feb 1   2345 utc   good fad ups maybe 4-6 dashes in a row then qsb out and then back

Feb 11 time 1525 utc nice strong copy on the Mohavie tuner...I wonder if it is in the desert???
